Our Story

Born on the Water

SaltyFeathers began as a worn notebook kept on a jon boat drifting down the St. Johns. What started as personal field notes — water levels, lure choices, the osprey nest near marker 42 — became a journal shared with anyone who feels the pull of Florida's waterways.

We cover the full stretch of the St. Johns River from Blue Cypress Lake to Jacksonville, and the Intracoastal Waterway from Fernandina down to the Keys. Whether you're casting for bass, navigating a pontoon through mangrove tunnels, or just watching the sunset from a dock — there's a story here for you.
